The Election Command Centre is 3News’s election results platform, at elections.3news.com. I ran it from the Chief Data Officer seat.

It holds the presidential and parliamentary results for every general election from 1992 to 2024, at national, regional and constituency level, with trend analysis, a comparison tool across years and regions, and a results chatbot.

On the night of 7 December 2024 the portal published results live as they were collated, applying the 50% plus one threshold to the presidential race, and served as the data layer for the 3News and TV3 coverage.
